  • GOLF – The golf court of Carrick-on-Shannon is one of the most scenic golf courts in Ireland. Nearby, the greens of Rosses Point, Strandhill, Casteldargan, Boyle, Strokestown and Roscommon also invite you to practise your swing while taking in the wonders of nature.
  • WATER SPORTS – With its numerous stretches of water, the region is very popular among canoeists. You can rent canoes, kayaks and windsurfing equipment from the Lough Allen Adventure Centre in Leitrim.
  • BOAT TRIPS – Discover the Shannon River on one of the traditional river boats. During the summer season, boat tours can also be booked on Lough Key.
